I’ve always been passionate about saving animals, learning about their behavior and educating others on how to help their pets live healthier, happier lives. I started saving animals as a child, saving half of my lunches to feed to the chained up puppy next door…or advocating for the baby duck who couldn’t walk properly to make sure he had enough food and water.
It’s been a long journey, which included living in two foreign countries and working with underserved communities, saving countless lives and learning so much about myself in the process.. I also learned there are many different perspectives when it comes to animal health and pet ownership, but the key that holds us all together is the Human-Animal Bond.
Over the last 30 years, I’ve changed the direction of my career with animals to include veterinary technician, dog training/behavior and animal rescue/welfare. These paths have enabled me to make a positive impact in the lives of animals and their humans.
